All communication with the hosts was prompt and seamless, as was check-in and check-out. The bed was one of the coziest I’ve ever experienced. I read in their room handbook about how the artwork in the guest rooms are the Inn’s original shutters when it was built in the 1950’s and located on the actual beach, before it was transferred to its present site.

A charming cottage
The Atlantic Street Inn is a charming cottage located one block from the beach in a quiet and safe location. There are bicycles to borrow for a day of cruising around the strip, a bountiful organic vegetable garden in the backyard available for sampling at the owner’s request, a hammock to rest under the stars, and the ever-present scent of the warm salted ocean air 24/7.

Like Home Away From Home!
I can not say enough good things about this place. I loved this place so much I actually proposed to my girlfriend in our room rather than on the beach just to make the Atlantic Street Inn that much more special.

Our Second Time Here But Not Our Last!
This is our second stay at the Atlantic Street Inn. We are as pleased as we were last year. This inn is the perfect alternative to a hotel and much more comfortable. The rooms are spotless clean and the house is welcoming.

Such an amazing inn – a block from the beach! They have tons of beach equipment you can borrow during your stay! Make sure to spend some time in the back yard – absolutely perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our trip here was great!

Cozy room and private bathroom with access to beach equipment and all. Precautions are being taken due to COVID which I greatly appreciate. Would highly recommend staying here.

A very unique and beautiful place
Just a few minutes walking distance from the beach, the Osprey Nest was a very unique and beautiful place to stay for a trip to obx. Although small, it offered a wide variety of amenities.
